Our Summer 2022 Limited Edition labels have been hand-painted by Harri Wren, a 22 year old Auckland-based graphic designer with an all-consuming passion for the ocean.
Embracing a ‘less is more’ philosophy by letting the white space dominate, Harri leans into minimalism. We love the simple charm of the very organic, freeform waves she’s created for Exhibit A’s end of summer bottles. Each label is slightly different.
Harri sails competitively, in fact her dream would be to head to Europe and find an opportunity to sail full-time. Til then she’s launching into a career as a designer.
‘I’ve been sailing since I was 8. Being on the water is everything.’
‘Blue is undoubtably my favourite colour. Looking at the changing hues of the water way out at sea is inspiration in itself.’
Harri is not too fussed about following trends. She remains true to herself, which means wearing a lot of blue, down to and including her Birkenstocks. It’s a no-frills approach.
Complex cocktails and fancy, fiddly canapes aren’t really her style, a classic G and T and a bit of a cheese plate with ‘whatever’s on the boat’ works nicely.
‘Gin and tonic, plenty of ice and lime. On the back of the boat, just off Great Barrier.’
